Noted Interior Designer Karen Mills of Interiors by Design, Inc. to Make a Design Presentation to Speaking of Women’s Health Convention at O.P. Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas

Every year Speaking of Women’s Health, a non profit foundation, holds conventions across the United States to educate women about health issues and how to improve their lives. This year’s convention in Kansas City will be held on October 27th and 28th at the Overland Park Convention Center and the theme will be Simple Pledges: Building Blocks for Health Living. With a sold out crowd of 2000+ attendees, Mills, along with other well known personalities such as psychologist Dr. Robin Smith from “Oprah”, PBS TV personality and author, Zonya Foco, RD plus platinum songwriter Jana Stanfield will be educating attendees on how to live healthier in every area of their lives.

Mills, who specializes in redesign, including staging homes for resale will give a presentation titled “Simple Pledges: Building Blocks to Beautiful Home Design”. During this session Mills will teach local Kansas City women how to discover the secrets to having a beautiful inviting home that’s designed with their own style and personality plus attendees will learn how to de-clutter, organize and redesign their home interiors to create an inviting oasis where they can relax.
“My goal is share with other busy women like myself how to clear their minds by clearing the clutter in their home. Then I can teach them the first steps toward beautiful home design.” Mills stated. “It’s an amazing sense of accomplishment and renewal, especially when you understand why you create clutter.” said Mills.

Besides designing interiors and public speaking, Mills also hosts “Living Large”, a design and lifestyle newsmagazine that airs on more than one station, plus she writes a design column and hosts DVDs and spends much of her spare time assisting with charity events.

Living Large airs on News Radio 980 KMBZ Sunday afternoons at 1pm and on Classical 1660 KXTR Saturday mornings at 10:30am with an outstanding roster of national television personalities and celebrity designers that regularly contribute first rate content to the show including Chris Madden, Kathy Ireland, Christopher Lowell, Constance Ramos, Bunny Williams and many more.
